What changed

  • One hop for every old URL

Every redirect destination is checked against the real page list at build time and chains are collapsed. A 306-URL sweep of production found no multi-hop redirects and no dead ends.

  • Ad clicks keep their tracking

Redirects used to strip the query string, losing gclid, fbclid and UTM tags. They now keep it, and ServiceTitan call tracking runs on every page, including paid landing pages.

  • 89 service headings rewritten

Every service H1 now leads with the keyword and fits under 70 characters (52–69, mean 62). One page that had no H1 at all got one.

  • Performance: 32 to 62, still climbing

Deferring third-party scripts took mobile performance from 32 to 62 and LCP from 10.8 s to 3.7 s. Most of what is left is tracking: two Meta pixels together cost about 1.3 s of CPU. The homepage itself is prerendered.
