Terms of Service

Effective

These terms apply when you use resultsxl.com (including the free website scanner) and when you buy a website rebuild or build from XL Marketing Agency LLC d/b/a ResultsXL (which also operates the BoostXL brand; "we"). If you sign a separate written agreement or scope for a project, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.

The free scanner

The scanner is free and provided as is. Its scores, page counts and issue lists are automated estimates made from a single fetch of the site at that moment; they are not an audit, and they can be wrong. Only scan websites you have a legitimate reason to evaluate, and do not use the scanner to overload or attack any site.

The quote the scanner shows is based on the page count it detected. If the real number of content pages is materially different, we will confirm the correct count and price with you before work starts.

Quotes and scope

Rebuilds are priced per page at the rates shown on the Pricing page when you order. Utility pages such as privacy, terms and sitemap pages are not counted. Sites above the custom-pricing threshold, new builds and sites with complex functionality (booking systems, e-commerce, member portals) are quoted individually. Add-ons are priced separately as listed on the Pricing page.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Depending on the project, checkout may offer some or all of the following options:

  • Pay in full: the whole project price is charged at checkout.
  • 50% deposit: half the project price is charged at checkout to start the work, and the remaining half is due when you approve the finished site, before it goes live.
  • 12-month plan: the project price is split into 12 equal monthly payments at 0% interest, charged automatically to the payment method you provide, starting at checkout. The plan ends after the 12th payment. It is a way of paying the project price, not a subscription: stopping payments does not reduce the amount owed. Where the total cannot be divided exactly by 12, each payment is rounded to the nearest cent.

Payment plan eligibility and failed payments

The 12-month plan and ACH bank payment are available only above the minimum project totals shown on the Pricing page. If a scheduled payment fails, Stripe may retry it and we will contact you; if a payment remains unpaid, we may pause work or hosting we manage until the account is brought up to date.

Delivery, approval and launch

We build the site, you review it, and it does not go live until you approve it. Timelines quoted on this website describe typical projects; we will tell you if yours will take longer. After launch, a 30-day support window covers adjustments to the delivered site.

Ownership

On final payment, we assign to you the copyright in the site code and the content we produce for your project, and transfer the repository, domain and hosting account as described on the Certificate of Ownership page. Third-party licensed assets and open-source components remain under their own licences. If the project is not paid in full, the assignment does not take effect.

Your responsibilities

  • You confirm you have the right to give us the content, images, logins and domain access you provide, and that using them will not infringe anyone else’s rights.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information on your site, and for any claims it makes about your own products and services.

Results

We build to the standards described on this website, but search rankings, AI-search visibility, traffic and leads depend on factors we do not control, including search engines’ own decisions. We do not guarantee any particular ranking, traffic or revenue result.

Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

Except as expressly stated in these terms or your project agreement, this website, the scanner and our services are provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses such as lost profits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version in effect when you place an order applies to that order. Questions: hello@resultsxl.com or (520) 539-2823.
